Frequently asked questions
What people ask us most before bringing a device in.
How long does a repair take?
Most screen and battery replacements are done in under an hour, while you wait. Board-level work and liquid damage need diagnostics and usually take 24 to 72 hours. You get a specific turnaround before we start.
What does the warranty cover?
We cover the installed part and the labor for 90 days (180 days on batteries). It doesn't cover new impacts, drops or liquid contact after the repair. If the same fault comes back, we look at it again at no charge.
Will I lose my photos and data?
A standard repair doesn't touch storage, so your data stays intact. We still recommend backing up before you drop the device off: with liquid damage or board failure we can't guarantee data integrity.
What kind of parts do you use?
We fit OEM-grade components, or genuine parts where the manufacturer supplies them. We always tell you which grade your repair uses and how it affects the price — we never quietly install low-quality parts.
Do I need an appointment?
Not required — we take walk-ins during shop hours. Booking reserves the part and a technician's time, so you're in and out faster and the part is guaranteed to be in stock.
When do I pay?
When you pick the device up and test it with us, never before. Diagnostics are free: if you decide not to go ahead, you pay nothing.
Can you fix water damaged phones or devices that won't turn on?
Yes! We specialize in catastrophic water damage recovery. Unlike standard shops, we use advanced ultrasonic cleaning and board-level microsoldering to restore dead motherboards and recover your precious data.
Do you repair PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch consoles?
Absolutely. We are experts in gaming console repair. We fix broken HDMI ports on PS5 and Xbox, resolve overheating issues, and perform hardware and logic board diagnostics on PS5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch.
My device is completely broken. Can you recover my data?
Data recovery is one of our specialties. If your screen is shattered beyond repair or the logic board is shorted, our technicians use deep hardware-level diagnostics to extract your photos, contacts, and files safely.
Do you use cheap aftermarket parts for iPhone and Samsung repairs?
Never. We strictly provide fast, affordable, same-day repairs using premium quality parts (OEM-grade or genuine). We believe in quality, which is why we reject cheap screens that break easily or cause touch issues.
How often should I get my PS5, Xbox or Switch cleaned or maintained?
We recommend a deep clean and thermal paste refresh every 12 to 18 months. Dust build-up inside the console is the number one cause of overheating, loud fans and random shutdowns down the line — a quick maintenance visit now is cheaper than a board-level repair later.
Can you fix joystick or analog stick drift on my PS5 or Xbox controller?
Yes. Stick drift — when the character moves on its own — comes from a worn internal sensor, so we replace the entire joystick module rather than just cleaning it. That's the only fix that actually lasts on DualSense, Xbox Series pads and Switch Joy-Cons.
My PS5 or Xbox Ethernet/LAN port is bent or my console won't connect by cable — can you fix it?
Yes. The Ethernet port on PS5 and Xbox Series consoles bends easily if a cable is pulled at an angle. We replace the damaged connector by microsoldering directly on the motherboard and verify the wired connection speed before handing it back.
Is it worth repairing my phone or console, or should I just replace it?
In almost every case, repairing costs a fraction of replacing. A screen, battery or port repair is typically $40 to $150; a new device is hundreds more. We'll always tell you upfront if a repair isn't worth it compared to the device's value — we'd rather lose the job than talk you into a bad decision.
